Awaken online book 5 series#
I feel like this series is written for a child, yet every book Drops the F-bomb multiple times. **Some plot Spoilers below** I want/wanted this series to be good but it's all around just to Basic in all aspect. ps I wish there was a recap because I forgot a ton of stuff from book 1,hey if there's a recap in book 3 then that would mean that the author actually reads reviews.

Awaken online book 5 how to#
To be onset I didn't like the first book ether there was too much sulking about the dead wife and I'm not a big fan of the daughter or there whole relationship I mean isn't the MC super old because he just seemed like when he was an eight year old his parents didn't buy him a toy so now 20 years later he's still sulking, or something I'm sorry I'm really bad at metaphors,I mean couldn't the author just stay on the other awaken online series I mean that one at least started out well you know until the books became all about how unfair this game is, I mean at least normal video games blatantly let you cheat by paying for it but this one is all about how to get strong in this game you have to be a fu*king genius and if you are witch I very much doubt they get a city, its not like other people get a chance these guys are chosen by the gods when they first log in, and speaking of logging in what happened to the whole video game part I mean its like levels don't even really matter any more I am priti sure that has forgotten the mcs level and I don't want to be that guy but where did the diversity go a mean think back have you ever heard mention of someone yo know ETHNIC I mean at least other books have that one asian or black guy but I haven't found any in here, I'm pretty sure these books have been so boring that I must have missed one. But if Travis Bagwell can't chill on the poor me BS I just can't read anything more from him. If I can stomach getting through the "Here there be ants" (10 ish hours left and they are STILL fighting ants of boring) then maybe I will finish this book. The only reason you listen to the chapter at all is that there is a journal entry of the mage guy at the start of each one, which is the only rather cool and interesting thing in those 9 hours. You get to the point where when the chapter starts the pity party and flash backs you skip to the next one and you missed NOTHING. The entire 9 hours could have been done in two but it is dragged on and on and on and on. But he acts like a tween who just missed the Bieber concert. The MC is supposed to be old, smart beyond compare, and experienced. (that is the first thing) and during that time when they are not fighting ants they have gone the poor me route and act like 5 year old children.

So "spoiler" alert, or really not since nothing happens, they spend more than 9 hours of listening time fighting ants. Two: The story becomes a pity party, with boo hoo emo characters. One: nothing happens for a large amount of hours, not in the book hours, but reading hours. While there are a few things at the start, it quickly degrades into the two things that ruined this authors other books in awaken online. I thought that would be a good thing with lots of interesting things happen. Nope, he did it again and ruined this book.
